Can you tell me what you love about it? Did you readily hear upon activation? If no, tell me about your rehab too. Thank you for your time in response.

I expected to get many more responses to this topic area. Or, that this would have been a discussion item from the past. Maybe, there has been discussion, I cannot figure out how to easily view past posts. Also, I am shocked that MedEl posts UTube videos without closed captioning.

I am interested in reading about adult experiences and satisfaction with the Sonnet EAS. If this information is already in the Hear Peers site, I do not know how to find it. In general this siteis difficult to navigate and frustrating. Thank you in advance - If you are directing me or repeating your post from a prior time.

  5. Cara Mia, Thank you for making time to your EAS experience. It is encouraging to know the acoustic component made a helpful difference for you. This means you had a enough residual hearing saved even 6+ months after surgery to benefit from the EAS. ? R
  6. I have a high frequency hearing loss and a candidate for a hybrid CI (Synchrony EAS System) with surgery scheduled for May 2, 2018. I have not made my final company selection yet but lean toward MedEl. I am especially interested in hearing about others with a similar type of loss and experience with the Synchrony EAS implant.
