Let me know if you try something to eliminate the compressions issue near the washing machine. So far, I am leaning towards just staying with our present strategy of slightly lowering electrodes 1 and 2 because the problem is happening much less often now.

Ok. Does the change effect your usual listening ability or just the low frequency noises?

I asked my audiologist to test all the way down to 250 Hz in the sound booth. She typically tests from 500 Hz up. We found that I was hearing at 250 Hz at a much quieter level than other frequencies. My audiologist thought that may be why the compression of low sounds was so noticeable. So we lowered electrodes 1 and 2 a bit. So for me, the change did not impact how things sound in speech or music. However, it appears that I was hearing those low sounds too much prior to the change.

I hope that makes sense.
