Ha's are not covered in the U.S. Because it is considered a prosthetic device. CI's. Are different.

To be fair I need to say that some insurance companies in the US cover HA. But in general I agree, that HA are covered not enough how it should be especially considering how badly hearing loss affects people' life.

Sadly, the hearing aid companies don't see it that way. Or at least the FDA doesn't. I'm sure the HA companies want to sell to as many as they can.
