Roy
After reading Arnaud’s post, I looked through my box of stored gear just in case (fully prepared for a head-slapping moment). Alas, Mary Beth speaks truly - no cables. Good idea about switching in the middle of the night, tho. Also thinking about 2-sided Scotch tape…
Roy
OK, wait… 2-sided tape… Hmm. What else could I use? Baling wire? Spit? Ah. Just saved myself $145 (or maybe $290).
Arnaud
Don't forget the rondo will reach a certain heat when charging

HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted October 1, 2022 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 1, 2022 @Roy Louis Smith Did your method work on keeping the Rondos in place on the charging pads while on the sailboat?
Roy
Indeed it did. We had a couple rough nights at sea and the rubber bands did their job perfectly. In fact, the Rondos stayed in place and kept charging even when the pads were held upside down. Also, there were no overheating issues.
