To listen to music in an acoustic ear and a Rondo 3 simultaneously, I recommend flat stereo headband speakers. I tried using my favorite around the ear headphones with my Rondos (BOSE QC35- which work great with Sonnets) but the positioning is awkward and doesn’t stay in place when I move around. So I use Cozy Phones or Cozy Band flat stereo speaker headbands which allow me to position the flat speakers within the headband. I have friends in the EU and they ordered them but I’m not sure how they ordered them. Maybe through Amazon? The only flat stereo headband speakers I have tested are those two. You may find other options work well too. Being able to position the speaker in the headband is important for correct Rondo mic placement.
