AudioStream to Tablet

Recommended Posts

Can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong but between Bluetooth, Accessibility, and Audio2Ear I can’t figure out how to get my AudioStream to connect to my tablet (iPad).

I love the AudioStream but wish connectivity was smoother. I switched to my phone and my HA picked up the zoom call via Bluetooth. When it works it’s superior to the HA, but there’s too many steps to keep straight for each processor and 1.5 ish years in I still run into problems. My HA had three steps to get it to work for example: 1) turn on 2) hold near device 3) congratulations, it’s connected.

AudioStream should work with your tablet without needing to use Audio2Ear at all.  Audio2Ear is only needed with AudioLink.

Turn off BT on the phone AudioStream was connected to and then it should be able to connect to your tablet.  Android or iPad tablet?

I chose only to use AudioStream with my iPhone because I read too many reports of issues when users switched back and forth between iPhone and iPad.

I’ll give it a try. Didn’t check my phone as I was using Rondo all day then tried switching to the Sonnet for the zoom call. Didn’t think it would’ve automatically connected to my phone, but it could’ve. I didn’t try Audio2Ear until BT/Accessibility wasn’t working. Obviously that didn’t work out lol.

I also primarily use my phone and was just wanting to use a bigger screen for the call but it worked out with my phone. I also have not experienced success smoothly transferring AudioStream to/from iPhone and Tablet. As Med-El explained to me technology basically decides “I’m doing what you want on this device, why change?”

I don’t recall whether you also have an Artone BT neckloop or not but if you do, you can pair that easily with your tablet and use the AudioStream with your phone and the Artone with your tablet .  That may be a simpler solution.
