bluegrassbabs
Does anyone know of programs that can be downloaded to practice hearing with? There seem to be a number of them for kids which just aren't appropriate for adults.
Hilla915
Hi Barbara, Great question! On the MED-EL website, there is a section called "Soundscape." Soundscape is a series of interactive listening activities for cochlear implant recipients to practice listening skills and there are some fantastic listening activities for adults. In fact, two great activities for adults are Sentence Matrix and Sentence Matrix 2. Under Sentence Matrix, there is also an option to download additional activities. Here is the link to Soundscape (scroll down to find the adult activities). Enjoy!

ChicagoIris
My favorite is Angelsound. It is the most comprehensive program I've found and can be used from the internet or offline once it has been downloaded. There is no charge as it is supported by a foundation.
