laurencesanford
Greetings I qualified for an implant and EAS processor at Oregon Health & Science University. I would like to get a second opinion from a clinic that has done a number of these procedures as I would like to retain as much residual hearing as possible if I decide to move forward. Even though i live in Washington state and the Med El website indicates a location in Seattle, I am not limited geographically to travel for another opinion. Can someone make a recommendation? HearPeers Heroes hadron Posted April 21, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted April 21, 2017 Hi laurencesanford, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill probably has the most experience with MED-EL EAS. Dr. Harold Pillsbury. Headed the clinical trials. A link is below. http://news.unchealthcare.org/news/2016/september/unc-hearing-loss-experts-lead-clinical-trials-of-fda-approved-hearing-implant
