I was visiting my daughter in Oregon last week and we did a lot of hiking in the mountains and along the coast. My concern was over losing or ruining a processor along the way. Although I do have a backup processor Rondo to my Sonnet, I was concerned about losing one or both (horrors!). I'm curious to know about insurance to cover such losses and replacement. In the US, we have one time loss so check with Med-El about how that works. We also have a 5 year warranty in the processors. That makes me feel like I am covered for the time being.
