Sue C Posted May 27, 2017 Report Share Posted May 27, 2017 Hi everyone! My name is Sue C and I got implanted two days ago on my right side. Activation is on June 20th and have been reading the community website for a few weeks so I feel as I know some of you already. I'm feeling pretty good post op, but today can see some swelling of my ear, starting to look like Schrek! Feeling a little more dizzy too, probably from the swelling. Glad the medical portion is over and implant done, looking forward to the possibilities of quieter or no tinnitus after activation, direction and mostly, hearing in stereo again. I had sudden sensiorial loss on right side about 11 yeas ago. Cause is not known, the Doctors best guess was either a leaky membrane or small stroke in ear.
