HearPeers Heroes Jewel Posted November 17, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 17, 2017 Hey. I'm wondering if you had to do it all over again, would you have surgery on both ears at the same time or would you do them one at a time? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted November 17, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 17, 2017 Sequential CIs were the right choice for me. I have a few friends who did simultaneous CIs and that worked well for them.
HearPeers Heroes Jewel Posted November 17, 2017 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 17, 2017 I'm wondering whether the aural rehab is more difficult when you're working on both ears at the same time. It would be great to just have one surgery. Also at what point do they determine how soon after activation can be done after surgery?
