I've just been to the local farmers market and got a couple of smoked pork sausages for my dinner, had a bacon and egg roll and the mutt had plenty of treats as well. Yep, life is good. The door is always open for dinner - I am an active member of Couchsurfing and host travellers all the time. There's a small chance I may be in the US later this year and if so I'll look you up.
