Cara, don't sell yourself short. You are early on in your hearing journey but I was in the exact same position almost 5 years ago. I truely believe you will help many along their hearing journey

Adam,

It's a lot more fun here now that we have more people. Not that the small group was at all boring before but we never did discuss quantum physics!

Dear friends,

Having fun is good )but would it be harmful to the device to be sticky to metals? I assume it may damage coil polarity+- or audio processor??

I have come too close to various objects made out of metal. If your coil sticks to it, it will not damage it in any way

I have had this happen to me as well. Nothing has happened to damage the coil or processor. To the fridge the washing machine and the cookie rack in the cupboard!! So don't worry!

Perhaps magnet not but you should be careful not to get into the electric circuit - it can erase maps...

Correct. D- coil attaching to something metal is one thing. Magnets on our control units is a no no.

I walked into our bedroom and showed my wife a trick. Took a couple paperclips and threw them to the implant. They stuck to the side of my head. :D
