I love the new banner that displays when you sign into the Med-El US online shop!  It announces any current promotions.  Great feature!

today it looks like this….

The HearPeers it is referring to is the Med-El US mailing list.  Join with this link

While I appreciate the info the banner provides, it makes searching for items on a mobile device hard as it hides the search bar and menu buttons at the top.

I had to find a workaround (scroll down a ways then ever so slightly scroll up) in order to search/use any of the top of screen options.

The banner had a DISMISS function when it displayed on my phone @Lauren  I think it was at the end of the announcement.

@Lauren

I agree that the design of dismissing could be better.  Either display an X in a corner like most other banners or use a different font/color for the word DISMISS and separate it a bit from the last word

I'm curious as to where you actually see promotions in Hear Peers or if that's just an email that gets sent out. I hadn't signed into this site for years and saw the banner on the shop when ordering stuff but when I look on this site I see nothing other than this discussion about the banner. I'm confused.

I thought I had but I'll do it again. Thanks.

I had to do it again, but it was easy.  I used the link Mary Beth supplied (thanks!) and I got an email right away with the codes I needed.  I am so excited for this and just placed my order!  One of the reasons I do not use my Rondo 3 as much is because I my Sonnet 2 can do more since it has AudioLink.  If my Rondo can do what my Sonnet does I may use it more often.

Thank you @Mary Beth as always for the help directing to resources.

@Enigmachick - like Mary Beth said, if you have trouble signing up, and/or do not receive the welcome email with promo information, just ping me directly and I can send it to you. It should work just like @WarrantyVoided_Left described.

P.S. I was in the same boat with relying on the SONNET for streaming - very happy to now be streaming with the RONDO 3 (at this moment, in fact) using the new AudioStream. So far so good!

Hey @Scott Murray,  How is the battery life when using AudioStream with Rondo 3?  I've noticed my battery life with Sonnet 2 is far less when I have AudioStream attached.

I have not noticed shortened battery life yet, at all. However, I've only done intermittent streaming so far - probably nothing more than a couple of hours total over the course of a day. I expect some additional drain with heavy streaming - but I'm also not usually awake for much more than 14-15 hours in a day 🤣.

There is a lot of good information/insight sharing going on over in the thread about this topic -

.

I haven’t noticed anything yet either but have only done incidental streaming thus far. I usually start my listening day when work starts (~8am) and streaming constantly from between 5pm-12am. With moderate streaming, today started (8am ish) at 100% and currently (8pm ish) still in the high 30%s with moderate/incidental streaming.

However keep in mind that individual maps and even magnet strengths (I have strength 3 magnets) could impact this so not everyone will experience the exact same.

Only times I’ve ever gotten low battery beeps from my Rondo 3s (before the Audiostream adapter) have been when my day starts between 4-8am and goes til at least 9/10 pm, so I’m curious as well to see how the adapter impacts this.
