I recently read a post from a CI user who was traveling.  She brought along extra rechargeable batteries.  Unfortunately her charger broke during her trip and she no longer had any way to charge the batteries.

This made me think about how we can prepare for traveling with CIs.

If we use Sonnet/Sonnet2 with rechargeable batteries, it is probably wise to also pack the disposable battery adapter and disposable implant zinc air batteries just in case.  Fortunately for many, these items came in the kit.

If we use Rondo 3 with its built in rechargeable battery, it is probably wise to either purchase the USB charge on the go cable or to bring along an extra charger just in case.

Some of us have back up processors.  Some of us live in countries where Med-El offers holiday loaner kits.  I find it helpful to have an extra processor along on trips just in case.
