Karl
Does anyone know what the requirements are for powering the chargers for the rondo 3 and sonnet? I am planning a mountain hiking trip and will have only small solar panel to power. Can I keep a phone battery pack charged and charge the rondo 3 from that by using appropriate cables? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 30, 2024 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 30, 2024 @Karl you can also purchase the Rondo 3 charge on the go cable which plugs into the Rondo port and then USB to a power bank Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/21730-off-grid-charging-for-rondo-3-and-sonnet/#findComment-81016 Share on other sites
Karl
Ahh. then at night I could just use the cable and plug in directly to the power bank? that seems like the best solution for travel. One power bank that covers phone, CI, HA and everything but my brain Thanks Mary Beth 1 Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/21730-off-grid-charging-for-rondo-3-and-sonnet/#findComment-81017 Share on other sites
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 30, 2024 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 30, 2024 @Karl yes. I suggest trying it at home before you go Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/21730-off-grid-charging-for-rondo-3-and-sonnet/#findComment-81018 Share on other sites
Karl
I want to give an update on my home try. I have successfully charged my Rondo 3 four days in a row using the air charger (with a rubber band) connected to a battery bank that has a capacity of 10000mAh. The bank appears about half discharged, so one bank will cover me and two banks will take all my hearing and phone needs for a week. This is a great solution for traveling off-grid, camping or anywhere that one is not sure where the outlets might be found.
