Museums + CI + Bloomberg Connects App = WOW

I just spent a week in New York City with my new Rondo 3 and Audiostream Adapter.  

My most recent "WOW" moment was how well the audio tours in the Bloomberg Connects app worked with my phone and my CI.  There is no charge for using the app or extra charge for the "audio tour."  I thought it would just be short little things like reading the material on the sign but there were a lot that were like 3 to 8 minute essays or discussions among art curators or other experts.  I listened to a couple of hours of audio commentary at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and the Smithsonian Native American Museum. Very interesting.  My family was jealous that I had such ready access!  

They have service at over 500 museums around the world.  I'll be sure to check them out in the future.  Of course you don't really have to wait to take a big trip - Portland Oregon has three museums listed.

If you want to give it a try, you can do a virtual visit.  For example, after downloading the app, search for "MOMA" and then the first thing listed is their list of "Unmissables."  You can click on the picture of the "The Starry Night" picture in the app and then listen to the commentary.

Of course it will be even better when I get my Rondo 3 program to set the equivalent of a mix ratio to eliminate the crowd noise too!
