HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted July 20 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted July 20 I love using BOSE QC35 headphones with my Sonnet processors. Sounds great and very comfortable. The Sonnet fits inside the cup and the cushion on the cup is comfortable against the coil if it overlaps. Members Tim
@Mary Beth 100% agree! Under BT headphones while flying or doing yardwork is now my main use case for Sonnet 2 since the Rondo 3 Audiostream arrived. Safe travels and hope you didn't have problems from the big Crowdstrike IT problem.
John Schulz
I 100% agree that headphones are the way to go especially if having to pay out of pocket for the AudioStream/Link. I have the JLab Lux ANC and Creative Zen Hybrid Pro. The Lux ones are more comfortable (though it's hard to wear any headphone for more than an hour personally) and can connect via USB for an other worldly audio experience but the Hybrid Pros have LE Audio. JLab will come out with a v2 of the Lux with LE Audio and possibly support for Dolby Atmos/Surround but I don't know when.
karenRS
Just reading these posts about headphones-I never realized that headphones would work with the processors as they never did with hearing aids except for feedback and squalling.

Michael Shipman
Mary Beth, I am just wondering why you are using BOSE QC35 headphone instead of Audiostream or AudioLink? Thanks! Michael.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 28 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 28 @Michael Shipman I use BOSE QC35 around the ear headphones when I travel. I do not care for the AudioLink. Its range is too limited for me. I like AudioStream but I prefer having a 100/0 mix ratio and find that my Sonnet battery covers loosen up and need to be replaced in order for the Sonnets to work correctly so I am not willing to spend over $600 for bilateral AudioStreams which may experience the same short usefulness. I use the Artone for streaming at home. Michael Shipman
Michael Shipman
@Mary BethIf AudioLink is clipped to your shirt, then the range is not an issue? I agree that I would prefer AudisoStream to be a 100/0 mix.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 28 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 28 @Michael Shipman There are AudioLink users who like the AudioLink. I find the AudioLink really needs to be connected by cable or dock to the sound source. This doesn’t work well for me as I like to have my phone in my pocket while streaming. Tech really depends on user preferences. I wanted to love the AudioLink but it just is not a good match for me. I do like the sound quality of AudioStream. If AudioStream was part of my kit I would definitely use it. But it was released later so it requires self pay. And purchasing two AudioStreams is expensive. Since I am happy with my present streaming options, I am being patient waiting for what Med-El releases next. I stream hours of audiobooks almost everyday while doing other things so streaming is an important part of my listening experience.
