Rebecca831
My Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. All I'm doing is walking my dog, listening to a podcast, and it will suddenly disconnect. It's then stupidly difficult and tricky to reconnect both processors AND get back to the podcast. Also happens when I'm listening to music. is this happening to anyone else? I don't see it addressed in the FAQs as I'm not connected to another phone.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 7 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 7 Is this happening when you are outside and the phone is in your pocket?
Rebecca831
I keep the phone in my hand or under my shirt, in the middle (okay. My bra.). Too staticky otherwise.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 7 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 7 If the phone is being kept chest level, I am not sure why it is disconnecting. Sorry
WarrantyVoided_Left
The only thing I can think of is if you are walking your dog is it possible that your arm is going in front of your phone and possibly blocking the connection? Like if your dog makes you cross your arm in front of your phone due to pulling in a certain direction. I
Rebecca831
It's not. I keep the phone in my bra and it sticks out of the top of my shirt.
Anthony Canada
My BT sometimes disconnects because of the way I move and sometimes it is because the way I move accidentally pushes a button on my phone. The distance from shirt, pants or table to device doesn't seem to be the biggest culprit, it is when my body gets between the phone and the device. Rebecca831
It doesn't happen when I'm on a call, though. And reconnecting is the trickiest part.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 8 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 8 @Rebecca831 Something seems wrong. It shouldn’t disconnect often when close nor be difficult to reconnect. Jimit
Hey @Rebecca831 Bluetooth is tricky especially while streaming music though audio link with audio2ear app. If the distance between phone, audio link and processor are not close enough you will find it difficult to maintain the connection especially while on the walk or run. I am using the 3.5mm audio cable supplied with Rondo 3 to connect my phone with audio link and bypass audio2ear app. Never had any connection issue with this setup. I have to buy a connector to connect 3.5 mm cable to my iPhone though but it’s worth it.
JohnNadashki
Hi, I sometime had the drop on audio stream adapter too. I fixed it by swiped down the phone (I have Samsung Galaxy S24), selected Bluetooth icon and disabled it. Wait for 1 or two minutes, then enable Bluetooth again. Everything was reconnecting and starting to work fine. Sometimes it does not work after few tries, I restart the phone, and everything is back to normal. I know this is not really telling what the root causes are but digging deep into this will just have me end up calling supports ... Hope this tip will help!
