HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 21 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 21 One of my favorite WOW moments on my CI journey was when musical instruments emerged with their distinct individual sounds. Recently while traveling I enjoyed listening to and learning about new to me Irish and Scottish traditional instruments. I loved hearing these distinct musical sounds. So very thankful for this gift of hearing from my CIs. Bodhrán- hand-held frame drum Tin whistle- a small 6-holed flute, in D, like a simplified version of the classical recorder Celtic harp- smaller than the concert harp and has one set of strings Irish concertina- a small, hexagonal accordion-like instrument Edinburgh Tattoo Massed Pipes and Drums- made up of military and civilian bands from around the world Wishing you all a day full of musical discoveries.
