have read your post few times - I really do not see a possible reason why your CI can affect your balance directly. It is another cranial nerve who is responsible for getting dizziness and consequently nausea. I have seen few patients with CI but never heard for this kind of problem nor I can figure out the reason why it could happen in the late stage of CI implantation.

I believe that the answer for you lies in active visit to your audiologist to participate in CI mapping. You can't get glasses on which you can count in 100% - hearing is something what you need time to understand and link possible cause with a solution. I would highly advise this approach no matter how far you are from your audiologist.
