Shssss sound!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are doing well!

I have question about "sh", or "s" sound. My rondo3 has too much of sh or s sounds (Let say I speak out loud the word such as "places", then I hear the "sh or s" are very vocal instead of deep, soft, and smooth (for normal hearing)). These sh and s sounds bother me when I speak but I can hear people speak just fine.

I recalled I had same sh and s sounds in hearing aid, my Audi Dr. fixed it by reduce the loudness of high frequency such as 2000/4000k to 8000k.

Is there any same way to reduce high frequency in Rondo3? and do you know where that features are in Rondo3 setting software?

Thank you

@JohnNadashki

each speech phoneme has frequency bands for its formants and our audiologists can adjust our programs by increasing or lowering our electrode settings for those bands.  The good news is that it should make an immediate difference so you will know while you are at the appointment.
