Audiokey 2, connect Sonnet2 - getting a message "waiting for guardian approval"?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am trying to connect my sons both Sonnet2 in Audiokey 2.

One is no problem. For the other one I am getting a message "waiting for guardian approval". From whom? Where? Email or ....?

I am the guardian. What to do now?

Thanks!

Marianne

If you are in the US, you can call Med-El US for help.  If you are not in the US, maybe your region also has a Med-El office for assistance.  If not, your son’s audiologist may be able to assist you.

If these 2 Sonnet2 processors are set one for left ear and one for right ear, choosing bilateral when in the app is supposed to take you through the process step by step.

There is also a way in the app to reach out for support.

I have not heard about this specific issue before so unfortunately I do not have any suggestions.  I hope it gets sorted out soon.

Thank you!

Found out the answer 🙂

It was my husband that had done this before a long time ago and in his Audiokey there was a message for him to approve. So he could answer the message and we also changed so that I also is guardian in the system.

So now I have both CI in my app.
