Russ.Ezzy
I got the first Sonnet 3 processor in Australia and the streaming works as designed with Android 13 but with Android 14 it pairs but won't connect. Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just confined to Australia? Any suggestions for a fix? Med El are aware of the problem but have not come up with any suggestions yet. Russ. Kat Southwark
You're probably going to have to wait for it to get patched... Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/23574-bluetooth-connection-problem/#findComment-84558 Share on other sites

It's been about a year since I've looked at the ASHA code for Android (that was pushed to 14) and there were a few changes from previous versions. Unfortunately, not all hearing aid vendors implement ASHA as per Google's recommendation and many of the changes were related to that and attempting to fix timing issues. If you're trying to use both sides, see if using only one side makes it better. Might help trying fresh batteries too if you have not already. Edit: I reread your post and it sounds like you only have one. There's a great Bluetooth tool called nRF Connect that is free and helps diagnose issues in connecting. It's possible that the processor was not "bonded" or "trusted" correctly but nRF can help fix that. Russ.Ezzy
Thanks John. I will try that if the Med El people can't come up with a fix. Russ.
