Do they go on the Rondo itself or just the Finetuner? If it does go on the Rondo, I wonder what would happen when it goes in the Zephyr overnight.

I'm not sure Sandy, I would check the website. i believe they go on the rondo though.  They are easily removed so i'm sure it wouldnt be an issue. I would like to see a picture of what they loook like on the processors. havent found one yet. there are no examples to look at n the website.

Hi everyone,

Skinits are indeed available! www.skinit.com/MED-EL

There are three different sets that cover different pieces depending on your needs. You can use one of the Skinit designs they have in the system or upload your own design.

All three sets include the front and back of the FineTuner.

Enjoy!

Thanks Charles, any problems when placed overnight in the Zephyr?

Hi Sandy,

Skinit tells me the skins can withstand up to 225 Fahrenheit. Per the Zephyr Product Info sheet: "Zephyr has an operating cycle of eight hours. It conditions at an average temperature of 96.8°-104° F (36-40°C) and a relative humidity of 19-25%, based on indoor ambient temperatures from 65 to 86°F (18-30°C)."

According to Skinit the skins should not be removed and reapplied (they will most likely warp and not reapply well).

Hope this helps!

Thanks Charles. John/Adam, should I consult you guys in my choice? Bears or motorcycles?

I think Matt loves the bears so you should go with motorcycles. I actually looked at the site last night and you can upload any of your pictures or artwork and they will make a skinit out of it. you can even see what it looks like on the processor.

Sandy, Penguins! Failing that either of your choices, or maybe a beaver? If you don't agree, go for a motorcycles, as bears hibernate during the winter.

Here are pictures of Jonathan's Skin-its for his Rondo processors. He loves them! UNC Tarheels on the left and Carolina Panthers on the right! They were very easy to apply and appear to be very durable. Smile
