Leblisa Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 I saw my audi today for my 4-week visit. She checked impedence (low), tested electrodes (all good), tweaked things as needed. I could distinguish all her 'ooo', 'mmm','sss','shhh', etc. Then she took me into the sound booth for the first time since I got the CI. When she tested me in May with 2 hearing aids I scored 15% accuracy with the sentences test. Today (drum roll now....) 80% correct!!!! I wasn't emotional at my activation, but today, when I got back into my car, I sobbed. She said that when I come back in late October it will be even better; hard to believe.
