HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted August 4, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 4, 2018 It recently dawned on me that the fact that it's very common to implant very young kids to support their language development must pose a challenge to the audiologists. How do you adjust the mapping for CI recipients who can't tell you what they're hearing? @Mary Beth do you know? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted August 4, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted August 4, 2018 There are different techniques used by different CI centers. The pediatric CI audiologists are amazing. There are also objective measurements that are taken. young kids with CIs do amazingly well.
