HearPeers Heroes Valentin Posted October 21, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 21, 2018 The connection day it's a "mystery" for everybody Marion. It's exited and uncertain. But don't worry, everything goes well. The maintenance of device is very easy to follow. Don¡t worry about it.
HearPeers Heroes Jewel Posted October 22, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 22, 2018 @Marion nancy It may take several weeks for the swelling to go down. It's been two months since my surgery and one month since my activation and I think i still have swelling. Don't worry about it. Come November 1 you will learn. The Sonnet is very low maintenance, believe me.
Marion nancy
Jewel thank you. The swelling and tenderness I can deal with. I become excited and then nervous and probably wiil be that way uneil activation. It is week 2. I am going about all my normal activities and routine. Waiting for activation is worse than waiting for surgery. Thx again. Jewel
HearPeers Heroes Jewel Posted October 22, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 22, 2018 I understand @Marion nancy. I was concerned whether all the electrodes would work on activation day and whether I would hear sounds but I realised that I had no control over so if I worried it wouldn't make a difference. Try to relax and enjoy the silence while you can.
