HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted October 23, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 23, 2018 I love the sounds of autumn ?! Today leaves are crunching underfoot. What are your favorite sounds from today?
Daniel the Stranger
Mine would be Sounds of Spring lol. Wind, wind and more wind. Hila and Mary Beth 1

HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted October 24, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 24, 2018 I was actually wishing one autumn sound would go away: the grounds crew at work were using gas-powered leaf blowers. Ugh. I'd far rather listen to the wind in the trees.
HearPeers Heroes Kara of Canada Posted October 24, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 24, 2018 I love the crunching leaves as well. I’m quite surprised how loud they sound. Jewel, Mary Featherston and Hila
HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted October 26, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 I had a cool Wow moment this morning. I was walking from the house to my car to go to work and a flock of Canada geese flew overhead, on their way south. HONK! HONK HONK. HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted October 27, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 27, 2018 Today I went to the Arboretum and walked (and walked and walked). I was hearing many, many songbirds, and I learned that I can tell the different between the sound of the motor in your average car and that in an Aston Martin. I can't even imagine spending that kind of money on a car, but someone did! Hila
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted October 28, 2018 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted October 28, 2018 @Joan Your favorite autumn sounds? It is snowing here today so I will soon be describing favorite winter sounds!
Joan
@Mary Beth ...it’s snowing there today?!? Wow! My favorite fall sounds are the rustling of the leaves in the trees and the crunching of them beneath my feet after they’ve fallen. My favorite sight is the treat of magnificent color they offer...in the trees as well as off! Mary Beth
