But almost no one voted and I think this is important info for Med-El to see. What Med-El users really want in future processors so I tagged some friends. @VeroNika I created the list and then was stumped on whether I wanted longer rechargeable battery life or direct streaming from phones for all audio the most! @Jewel That is a terrific option....Fine Tuner app for all phones! Though I did add the rehab stuff, and yes, I have some games. I believe I just provided my own counterargument. The operating system does, so Med-El would have to write a version for iPhone, and one for Android, and one for whatever other phone OSs exist. Google phone's is different, I think. Updates are managed by the seller (Med-El) - they'd just have to send an update to the app store. Some apps aren't work with all OS versions of phones, specially the oldest. Operators do not usually limit applications, or increase the invoice for use of data connection. Helgeo Posted February 4, 2019 Report Share Posted February 4, 2019 I voted for direct streaming, but I would also like to see an improved filter design that makes the Sonnet processor safe to use in rain or when sweating. I'm actually very surprised that this problem has not been mentioned more often on the forum. I have had close to 10 Sonnet processors fail due to moisture during the last three years. They have been replaced on warranty, but it is still a big nuisance. Hopefully the Sonnet 2 has been improved in this area.
