Most connections will require a cable to the AudioLink from the sound source for best sound quality though. AudioLink uses the built in 2.4 receiver in the Sonnet 1 and Sonnet 2. No need to use any special battery cover. The Roger System uses a Roger receiver. That receiver is not built into the Sonnet 1 nor the Sonnet 2. The Roger receiver is integrated into that special battery cover called Roger 21.
