Dave in Pittsburgh
As I wear my Rondo 2 in the house it seems that I get a longer range of reception with the Sonnets then Rondo 2. Example T.V. Is in the living room when I go upstairs or down stairs I loose reception with Rondo but still have Reception with Sonnet. Just wounding? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 9, 2019 @Dave in Pittsburgh That’s interesting. Is it perhaps time to change your Rondo 2 mic cover? Is your Sonnet program in natural, adaptive it omni mic setting?
Dave in Pittsburgh
New mic cover, natural program I think it’s the nature of the beast
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 9, 2019 Interesting. If you find you wish you heard from a wider bubble, you can increase sensitivity via your Fine Tuner.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted June 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 9, 2019 It's weird, though, because in my experience the Rondo2 brings me a little more sound than the Sonnets. @Dave in Pittsburgh, did your audiologist do a separate mapping for the Rondo2 or copy the Sonnet MAP over? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 9, 2019 @Mary Featherston Your experience has been similar to many other Rondo 2/ Sonnet 1 users. It is always so interesting how everyone’s experiences with CIs are so unique. That is why I like reading everyone’s comments in HPs. @Dave in Pittsburgh ‘s experience of less access to far away sounds with Rondo 2 fascinates me. I wonder why that is happening for him?
