GWNikki
Hi! We have a person who has a Cochlear Baha 4 Sound Processor that works for us and currently she cannot answer the phone. She came to us and asked if there was a way for her to be able to answer the regular corded phone so she did not have to have other coworkers do it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can help her answer the phone without using the speaker phone? Is there a device out there that people use for a corded phone without Bluetooth. I am having a hard time finding any options to accommodate her. Please help with any ideas!!
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted September 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 9, 2019 Hi @GWNikki This forum is hosted by Med-El. You will find info about BAHA 4 phone options on a Cochlear brand forum. I hope you find what you are looking for.
GWNikki
Oh! I thought this was! Sorry about that! Do you know a Cochlear brand forum that would work? Or does it even matter what brand it is to be able to allow this person to answer the phone?
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted September 10, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 10, 2019 @GWNikki There are many different assistive tech options that allow us to use the phone. Which options are available depends on the processor we are using. Options for different brands vary. I don’t have a link for you sorry. HearPeers Heroes Mary Featherston Posted September 11, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 11, 2019 @GWNikki I don't see a forum on their website, but there is a hardware support section that might help: https://www.cochlear.com/us/en/home/ongoing-care-and-support/connect-with-us/request-for-information?utm_campaign=lg-b_all_adu_bau_bau_brand&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=cochlear americas&utm_content=dtc_cochlear-brand-americas&st-t=google&gclid=CjwKCAjwk93rBRBLEiwAcMapUf_9yM79-y2hZtMbcwZsZY1u9LpCoYK9buZuUBvxVE0HCLcOCcy1_xoC_6UQAvD_BwE
