implante Coclear y Vida cotidiana

Hola!!! Tengo un par de dudas. Con el implante coclear se puede seguir utilizando la plancha para alisar el pelo así como el secador.? Te puedes realizar tratamientos capilares en las peluquerías?. Cuáles son las limitaciones?

Espero que el implante coclear no limite mucho las tareas de la vida cotidiana.

Using a hair straightener or a hair dryer is usually not an issue, but you might want to take your audio processor off. 

Also treatments at the hairdresser's are fine, you might also want to take off the processor and let the hairdresser know that you are a CI user.

  @EVA MARIA CANTERO MATEOS No te limita, te da muchas ventajas respecto a no oír nada, pero si has de ser consciente que llevas el implante y que para ciertas actividades, has de tomar alguna precaución adicional. Rondo tiene el inconveniente de que se puede caer con facilidad ya que no tiene ningún otro punto de apoyo como los procesadores retroauriculares.

It doesn't limit you, it gives you many advantages over not hearing anything, but if you have to be aware that you are wearing the implant and that for certain activities, you have to take some additional precaution. Rondo has the downside that it can fall off easily as it has no other support point like the rear-ear processors.
