When I had my first CI implanted, last June, I had so much nausea, vertigo, dizziness, crashing fatigue, loud tinnitus. It really did take me a good 2 weeks to feel back to 90% myself. This time: no nausea, no dizziness, etc, normal tiredness, no tinnitus in the newly implanted ear (and just VERY mild tinnitus in the 'old' implanted ear). Sure it's sore but it's only been a week and I've been walking in the woods, doing baking, some gardening, driving, etc, etc. I feel 90% myself. No complaints! I had the same experience and it does make such a difference when things go so well. I am positive your activation will go as smoothly as your recovery.
