mike55
I'm just looking to see if anyone has had the same experience with their child. My daughter is 11 and has a significant perforation in one ear, the other ear has a tube. As per the doctor's instruction, the tube needs to fall out before they will surgically repair the other ear's perforation. In the meantime, they are suggesting she wear a hearing aid in the perforated ear. Has anyone experienced this? The perforation surgery may not be for 2 years...has anyone had this surgery. I'm wondering what the success rate is for that surgery? Thanks!
