tmscarlett10
I have it connected to bluetooth; it says "connected for calls" And I am connected to Audio2Ear app with streaming On. I am not seeing anything in settings to send directly to AudioLink. I have contacted a Med el rep.

karenRS
Ah thanks for this post. I had the same question about listening to music with the audiolink. It only works with the cable and I was trying to hook it up to my iphone which has no headphone socket of course
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 29, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 29, 2021 @karenRS We have 2 options for music with AudioLink and iPhones... 1) use the iPhone adapter (lightning to 3.5mm) and the cables with AudioLink 2) use the Med-El free app called Audio2Ear to stream music to the AudioLink If getting AudioStream is an option for you, I highly recommend it. Awe SSD one direct from phone to Sonnet/Sonnet 2 (no app). Terrific sound quality..
karenRS
Thanks for the response. I have been thinking about audiostream. It looks like you have to download audiokey 2 to set it up? The other question might sounds crazy but I have bilateral implants, so do I have to buy 2 or will one work? It says it works with iPad as well. Does it work with iPad in actual practice? HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 29, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 29, 2021 @karenRS Yes bilateral user’s need two AudioStreams to stream bilaterally. I just left them on my Sonnets all the time. I found them comfortable. When I didn’t want to stream or hear anything from my phone, I turned my phone’s BT off. Very easy. And when I wanted to stream again I just turned it back on (through the control center- lift up from bottom of iPhone screen. Fast and simple. I did not try it with my iPad. Sorry. Yes you need AudioKey 2 to set up AudioStream so it works as a left and right hearing device with our iPhones but you only need AudioKey to do the initial set up. No app is needed after that.
