AITF2788 Posted March 6, 2021 Report Share Posted March 6, 2021 I let my daughter go first. She was born servere to profound and then because of EVA she couldn’t hear us anymore at 2 year old. She got implanted at 3 1/2 and it’s been a wild journey since. She has since excelled in her speech development and is now a confident 7 year old. I’ve always been aided since I was a child, but since having my children my hearing has lost and am now deaf in my right ear. Going for surgery in London Ontario on the 22nd, and excited to see my daughters reaction when I come home with an “ear “ like hers in April.
