I opted for the off the ear style as I struggle with wearing glasses and face mask while wearing an over the ear hearing aid (phonak). I have SSD due to an acoustic neuroma removal earlier this year and the Dr tried to save what useful hearing I had left, using the middle fossa approach. I lost all hearing and my bad tinnitus got a lot worse. The CI was a roll of the dice. There was no way of knowing in advance if it would work. The successful activation yesterday was a very emotional experience! I'm using the 5 diamond magnet and it feels a bit loose. I saw some great suggestions on this site which I'll try. Lots of helpful and supportive members here. I hope to contribute and add value. I had my procedure done at Duke Raleigh hospital in NC. The quality of care and staff was top notch. Can you try going to Hearing Success to log in and/or reset the password? Word Success uses the same login but there is a known glitch that we are working on with the initial login. Once you log into Hearing Success, you should then be able to login to the Word Success app with the same credentials. If you are unable to, please reach out to share any error message you receive." Link I was directed to (Hearing Success): https://apps2.advancedbionics.com/auth/login/SsoForm As this was back in June 2021 I do not know if they have since resolved the glitch they mentioned. My issue was between surgery and activation I created an account to be proactive and promptly lost the login credentials. I would try to log in, get an invalid credentials error, then try a password reset only to be told that there's no account associated with the email. Further, when trying to create anew account with the same email, I got a third error telling me that the email was already in use and to either log in or reset the password. In my case I just created a new account with my other email and have had no issues ever since. I'm able to log into the app and the website with the same credentials.
