I live 5 hours away from my implant center and traveled as the passenger in a car the day after each implant surgery. No problem.

I don't know yet if I am promoted, but I hope I will be.  If I am, we will have to move about a month or so after my surgery, so that's why we want to travel to where the new area to find a place to live.  I may find out this week if I am to get the position.

Thank ya'll.  My doctor's office notified me today that they don't recommend me traveling until my post-op follow up with the dr. :-(  So looks like I won't be able to make the trip.

I know it's disappointing but better safe than sorry. Each CI center has different rules.

Yes - respect your doctor`s advices although you hear a different approaches because - they feel responsoble for what they did. :)

We decided to just plan our trip for another time. :-)  All is well.  I always listen to my doctors.

Thank you!  I am back home.  I'm in pain, but that's to be expected.  Trying to not do anything to cause more pain. :-)
