I use the attachment clip but find it to be very annoying when I need to remove it to use the waterwear. That being the case, I've made it easy for myself and now attach it to the protective piece. I punched two tiny holes in the protective piece, attached a jewellery slip ring to the holes, added a chain extender to the slip ring and also attached the clip to the extender chain.
