Rondo waterwear battery options

I ran 15 tests of my Rondo in waterwear at the beach. The SONY LR44 batteries that I ordered through Med-El are alkaline and expire in 11-2016. They are supposed to last between 6-8 hours. Mine lasted between 4 1/2 and 6 1/4 hours. Out of 14 trials, they only hit 6 hours twice. For the 15th trial I used Energizer Silver Oxide 357 batteries and they lasted 12 hours.

Alkaline batteries are cheaper than silver oxide batteries, but if you want a longer battery life silver oxide is the way to go.

Just sharing my results.

Right I figured that there were some slight differences. But I wasn't sure even what type of batteries to get. I knew it couldn't be zinc air but needed to be alkaline. Thanks again Mary Beth.

Alkaline

Silver oxide

Rechargeable batteries

Are all options in the waterwear.

Kara, are you going to try the waterwear for the Sonnet? Leigh has used it.

If you do not blink! But summer in the North Country of New York State is very similar.

I am not a risk taker with my processors either. They are too valuable!

Yes Ivana we have summer from June to September!!

Pardon me if I hurt you - we have more than enough of summer here so often I just wish to run somwhere where it's less hot.

Ah, you were in Croatia - summers here can be very hot and frustrating if you're not at the seasude.

Unfortunately, it's not even official covers for BB's - that's the reason why it's not particularly clever to challenge the faith... :(

no you didn't hurt me!! I thought it was quite funny! I needed to make sure if u were being part serious or not. It can get up into the 40s in Celsius here in summer. So it can be quite hot. Now in the north of our country it doesn't get this hot.

Everything is all right - I am more on British side of humour, a pinch of irony but more about me and myself: wanted to describe that I would like to go somewhere where's not so hot.

But, looking that gigantic fire on news...:(

Yeah, you need to advocate for waterwear covers for your processor!

Mmm... There is an old saying here in Croatia when you want to make a complain, make it to the directorate of the water supply company :)

It's a nonsense irony ;)

Ivana,

Not a complaint, a request to Med-El that they create a waterwear cover for your processors too. After all, hearing in water is helpful to all of us.
