The details are as follows: Speech Perception in Cochlear Implant Patients Adult patients with cochlear implants may be eligible to participate in a research study evaluating speech perception. These studies will take place at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at Duke University. You may be eligible for this research study if you are: - Between the ages of 18 and 70 - Currently utilize a MED-EL cochlear implant - Have had a cochlear implant for longer than 2 months Qualifying participants receive compensation for time and travel for completed visits. For more information, please call 919-668-1334. This study has been approved by the Duke Medicine Institutional Review board for Clinical Investigations (Pro00063259).
