CI and a head cold.

For the first time since activation I have a fairly heavy head cold. It seems  to have affected my hearing through my CI. There is more base and less clarity. Is this an known side effect or should I be looking for other reasons?

Maybe cold is a infection in the body, did you go to the doctor?

I get really weird feelings when sinus's are full....yah more bass i guess but i dont get enough bass

lol. I would call the doc if i felt like it was a earache, but when my allergies flare up it doesnt last long

No need to worry. Once your cold gets better, your hearing will improve on its own.

Thank you all for your thoughts. I saw my quack this morning about something else. He is an absolutely expert general practitioner. He showed no concern about my status, smiled when I asked if he a had a miracle cure, gave me a prescription for a nasal spray but, more importantly, for a cough medicine to take only at night. Essentially he said: live with it, it will cure itself if you are sensible. My kind of doctor.
