Raymond Veith
I am newly activated. I just mastered using the Quattro4 with the TV and love it. Now I would like to find some way to aid listening in a movie theater. Suggestions?
HearPeers Heroes Kara of Canada Posted February 9, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted February 9, 2017 First find out if your local theatre has a hearing loop. Some do. Then you can just switch to T and the sound will go straight to your processor. Just a thought the Quattro could be helpful if you used the mini mic as well. HearPeers Heroes Adam Posted February 9, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted February 9, 2017 The T Kara is referring to is the telecoil button on your fine tuner. if the theater does have a loop system, if you press the T button on your fine tuner, you will be listening to the telecoil only. You won't hear the ambient noise around you, just the signal from the loop system which is whatever audio is playing on the screen at the time.
