Robbin J
Hi everyone, I am a person with long-standing single-sided deafness, and was implanted just this past December, and activated a month ago. They told me that I might never have speech recognition because of the length of time I've been deaf in my left ear (pretty much my whole life, and I'm in my 50s), but I'm getting speech pretty well already, it just is kind of quiet and hard to hear, but the quality of it is pretty good. Anyway, glad to be here and glad to have my implant, it's exciting 😃

Robbin J
Hi Mary Beth! I have both a Sonnet 2 and a Rondo 3. I've been using them both, for different situations. They say they're supposed to sound the same, but to me it sounds like the Sonnet 2 is kind of sharper sounding, it's hard to describe.
