Mary Jones
Can anyone recommend a vibrating travel alarm clock or wrist band. Hopefully something light weight. Thanks!

Mary Jones
Thanks Mary Beth - I need this to wake me up without disturbing my travel partner. Do you know if it will do that?
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted February 28 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted February 28 Yes I have one and it just vibrates on my wrist and only wakes me up. Tim
Mary Jones
Perfect! My son has a Fitbit he is going to lend me, so all set - thanks again. Tim and Mary Beth
Members Tim
Another vote for a FitBit as an alarm clock. Different FitBits have different strength vibration motors. I use the FitBit Versa 2. It works great as my morning alarm clock and doesn't bother my wife. They are up to the Versa 4 now but I don't see any feel for upgrading. I still get about 4 or 4.5 days of charge out of it after about 4 years. Google is seemingly "de-featuring" aspects of the FitBit system after buying the company in favor of the Google Watch but that is not bothering me - I don't use it for anything other than telling time and alarms. I've been pretty happy with this tech purchase! The Apple Watch has great features and my wife uses hers as an alarm but the battery life is so much shorter. Mary Jones
Thanks Tim - not sure what version my son's is, but I'll double check vibration strength. Appreciate the info! Mary
Dianna
Fitbit!!!! Unfortunately my third fitbit charge5 is a lemon, but the old ones are great!!!!!
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 1 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 1 I actually have a lower end FitBit and it works great. I’ve had it for years. I can set it to alert me to whichever notifications I wish from my iPhone and its silent alarm wakes me up easily without disturbing others. Mine is a FitBit Inspire. PamelaSisco
I have Fitbit Charge 5 and I cannot feel the vibrations at the highest setting:/
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted April 21 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted April 21 I read that FitBit may not vibrate strongly enough when paired with android phones. I have FitBit Inspire and an iPhone and it works great.
