laurencesanford Posted April 20, 2017 Report Share Posted April 20, 2017 Greetings I qualified for an implant and EAS processor at Oregon Health & Science University. I would like to get a second opinion from a clinic that has done a number of these procedures as I would like to retain as much residual hearing as possible if I decide to move forward. Even though i live in Washington state and the Med El website indicates a location in Seattle, I am not limited geographically to travel for another opinion. Can someone make a recommendation? I am so pleased with my surgeon, Dr. Seth Schwartz, and my audiologist Ashley Evers. I have both my Ci surgery done with this team with absolutely great result. Both my surgeries were unbelievable easy and positive experience for me. In May I should get my EAS processor as I have a good amount of residual hearing left after my surgery on my ear with some hearing present before surgery. Maybe check the find a clinic feature on the Medel website or contact the team that deemed you a viable candidate for some options.
