Sonnet CI and Sonnet EAS

Info from @leighf

In general, SONNET EAS requires more power than a SONNET CI, so you could typically expect slightly shorter battery life. However the battery life can vary depending on many factors.

The SONNET EAS uses around 5% more power than a SONNET CI, and the SONNET EAS is slightly heavier in weight.

Any SONNET user may use an earmold for a preferred wearing option. When using a SONNET EAS, your audiologist can turn the EAS acoustic programming off so it works solely as a CI but the EAS earhook would have to be exchanged to a regular earhook to assure proper water protection of the entire audio processor system. If you have a SONNET CI it cannot turn into a SONNET EAS because SONNET CIs do not have the EAS acoustic component built in. You would need to get a new Control Unit.

Thanks Leigh!
