Dognutz Posted August 21, 2023 Report Share Posted August 21, 2023 Had the original samba unit with the horrible sliding battery drawer that hardly ever connected, but great microphone with clear normal sound. Due to losing it at work, I've bought the new samba model with the new much-improved swivel hinged battery compartment, but horrible raspy microphone. Audiologist just said I would get use to it, but I'm missing my old samba. How come its changed so much, anyone else have this issue? Travis Posted November 15, 2023 Report Share Posted November 15, 2023 Not gonna lie I find the Samba 2 a vast improvement over the original, the algorithm is much smoother in changing environments and also does a really good job of picking out conversations in a noisy environment.
